Yet another bus ride

Caught an early morning bus from Puno to cusco, the gateway to the sacred valley and machu picchu. A 9 hr bus ride!
Here are some of the interesting things that occurred...
- man with machete boarded bus
- chollas would come on bus at stops and try to sell u food, there were an excruciating amount of stops and long ones they were
- a cholla fell on my lap, luckily she missed the arm
- we had our travel bags, but other passengers were loading tires, food, furniture, chickens
- if u wanted to stop, other than main stops like cusco, u had to come to front of bus and bang on door until driver opened door and u told them where to stop...this is how cholla ended up in my lap
- bus driver would get off, another one hop on, then get back on later
these r just a few examples of the crazy busride...

- in peru, noticed kids playing pool, yes with stick and balls and cue, outside. pool tables just set up outside in middle of square!
- saw a bad truck accident. toppled over on side of road. was worried that would be us, since traffic laws in peru (and bolivia) lax. Passing is a must, even on dangerous windy roads. Heck a policia even waved us to pass him once!
